All Star Guard Leaves Game 2 In The Third Quarter

Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton suffers hamstring injury

All-Star guard leaves Game 2 in the third quarter

Indiana down 2-0 in the playoffs

BOSTON -- The Indiana Pacers have been down 2-0 in the playoffs before, and they've had success coming back. But they'll have to do it without their All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton.

Haliburton suffered a hamstring injury during Thursday night's 126-110 loss to the Boston Celtics. He left the game in the third quarter and did not return.

The Pacers announced after the game that Haliburton had strained his left hamstring. The severity of the injury is not yet known.

Haliburton's injury is a big blow to the Pacers. He is their leading scorer and assists leader, and he has been one of the most improved players in the NBA this season.

The Pacers will now have to try to come back from a 2-0 deficit without their best player. They will host Game 3 on Saturday night.
